I decided to keep the video short and sweet, so I added simple audio and fixed my transition issues, timing and put in my references. My reflections are condensed in my bonus video below. Enjoy!
Laura I like that you kept your PowToon short and concise. I LOVED how you created a video reviewing the assignments we did in the class. I thought this was a great addition to our final assignment as I didn’t really reflection on our assignments as much as I reflected on our reading.
What a fantastic video! I enjoyed that you stepped away from the PowToon templates and incorporated outside images and photographs; it made it more personable. I also liked that you presented your summary using a question and answer method, as well as dividing your learning based on the assignments, rather than only the readings and videos. Great job!
Short and sweet is better than drawn out, in my opinion. Your use of images and transitions was great and gave a very professional appearance. I think that, given the message we were delivering, a shorter powtoon served the purpose better than a longer toon that included more general slides. Get the point in and get out while the attention is still held! Also interesting that you decided to reflect upon the assignment. You know there are some educational philosophers that insist upon the idea that most learning occurs in the reflection stage?
It has been a pleasure having class with you this fall! I'm sure we will encounter each other again at some point. Happy Holidays!
